To ensure fulfilment of our
Company policy by providing our customers with safe quality fruit
and vegetables available, or if requested, fruit and vegetables of a
specified standard, with the best possible service, we operate a
Quality System for our wholesale operations based on the
requirements of AS/NZS ISO 22000:2005, as well as satisfying the
requirements of other codes including SQF 2000, HACCP, ISO22000,
Coles and WQA.
Ross & Co Fruit & Vegetables Pty
Ltd have in place a Food Safety Management System which conforms to
both Statutory and Regulatory requirements, is communicated to
relevant company staff and is reviewed annually for continued
suitability and improvement.
To ensure freshness, we
purchase daily the highest quality produce available from reputable
and reliable local, interstate and Brisbane Market growers and
agents. A seven days a week customer delivery service further
contributes to our achievement of this fundamental service quality
goal and our better purchasing capacity ensures the best available
pricing for the produce.
Critical to our success in
achieving our quality goals are our dedicated staff, many of whom
are long serving, who share responsibility for satisfying our
customers within a safe and healthy work environment. To identify
areas for potential improvement, our customers and staff are
encouraged to provide feedback or suggestions on any aspect of our
business. In particular, they are encouraged to report produce
quality and service problems. We undertake to give such matters our
prompt attention and follow-up or respond as appropriate.
Competent staff are critical to any worthwhile organisation,
and Ross & Co Fruit & Vegetables Pty Ltd are strongly
committed to staff development and training. We have also committed
to provide resources for the effective management of our Food Safety
